The second annual Idaho High School All-State All-Star Prep Football game kicks off at 5:00 PM July 8th, 2006 @ Centennial High School. The coaching staffs have selected the Elite 80 players. It’s the top 40 players in District 3 (Team Treasure Valley) vs. the top 40 players in District 1,2,4,5,6 (Team Idaho). How are players chosen for this great game? Every Idaho High School Coach was contacted to recommend a player(s) that he thinks should play in this game. That pool of players' names went to separate coaching committee's who spent hours upon hours picking their respective teams. After much debate and consideration, Team Idaho and Team Treasure Valley were chosen. We have representation from every district in the state from 1A to 5A.

Future stars of Boise State, University of Idaho, Idaho State and other D-1, D-2, D-3, and NAIA University's will strap it up for bragging rights and hopes of winning the "Potato Cup" trophy. Team Treasure Valley has possession of this trophy after head Coach Tim Brennan’s team pulled out the 20-6 victory over team Idaho.

This year’s game will be televised statewide. These four Television stations KNIN CH. 9, KIDK CH. 3, KMVT CH. 11, and KLEW CH. 3 have committed to showing this years game on July 15th, 2006. You can also catch the game live and any other day after the 8th on www.idahoallstars.com brought to you by Fiberpipe. We’ve had over 8,500 people watch the 2005 game because of Fiberpipe.
